Trust me, I think we all know that those are coping mechanisms no one should strive to emulate.
Sometimes it is possible to separate style from dogma. Dye your hair pink, wear your Nirvana T-shirts and your Doc Martens, whatever. You do you.
But understand one thing: Mental illness is not a style.
Recognize the damage that trends can do to marginalized communities.
People with mental illness have a difficult enough time being heard without you claiming that you’re speaking for them.

H. If it meant it would solve all world hunger, war, disease and bigotry, would you spend the rest of eternity in Hell? OF. COURSE. c’mon, it would be one life suffering for an infinite number of safe people. i don’t believe in heaven and hell, believe that everything is here on earth and we go through heave and hell along our life, but i could do such thing as a pact (?) for it to become true… oh wow.
L. The Beatles or The Rolling Stones? Beatles
N. What was the worst nightmare you ever had? I usually have nightmares. I dream about drug dealers hunting me down to kill me (even though i never ever bought drugs), about sexual assault, about fights… but i think the worst nightmares are when someone die. when i was little i had a dream that my father died on the sea and it fucked up my head for some days. recently i had a dream that I died cause the elevator fell (i have elevator, i rather use the stairs). i don’t like to dream that people die.
